A community op shop raising funds for Huntington’s Australia with 100% of profits support people and families impacted by Huntington’s disease.
Hunt 4 Hope is a small, community-run op shop in Maroubra, NSW that sells pre-loved clothing, secondhand homewares and unique finds. Since opening in 2018, the thriving op shop has been more than just a place to find treasures – it’s a beacon of hope for our community. Every dollar raised goes straight to Huntington’s Australia to help fund services, outreach and support. The shop has been recognised with several accolades, including the Randwick City Council Business Award, for its contribution to the local community.
The shop welcomes donations and volunteers from the local community.
About Matina
Matina Moutzouris started Hunt 4 Hope after her sister-in-law was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. Motivated by family and community, Matina created the shop as a way to raise funds and awareness. The op shop is self-funded and proud to donate 100% of its profits to Huntington’s Australia.
